how to remove commas from php-like array?
i am trying to parse a large list of items that are separated by comma's.
i have tried to use the implode function to remove the commas but i am getting an error.
$items = file_get_contents('');
$data = explode(",", $items);
$data = implode("", $data);
any idea's on how to remove the commas?

You should use str_replace function, like this:
$items = file_get_contents('');
$data = explode(",", $items);
$data = str_replace("","",$data);

Goldman Sachs has been hit by the biggest setback in its history, with shareholders passing a motion on an 85-2 vote to reject its £9bn equity offer.
The bank said it would not appeal against the defeat, leaving its plan to buy the British business of the French bank BNP Paribas dead in the water.
The investment bank said it still plans to increase its dividend and aims to return to profitability by 2017. It now needs to convince shareholders that it is in a strong position to do so.
It has already had to increase the price it is offering to buy the business by £1bn. In its final offer, the bank said it would buy BNP Paribas for £9.1bn.
A Goldman spokesman said: “The board has no plan to appeal, nor any intention to withdraw the offer. The board has received overwhelming support and is confident that the proposed transaction will be a success for shareholders, employees, customers, clients and other stakeholders.”
Most major shareholders did not vote in favour of the deal, in which Goldman Sachs would have been the sole shareholder. Goldman’s special shareholders are the giant investment banks Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan Chase.
